Numerous animations I've produced since 2020. During the pandemic I spent the lonely isolation periods drawing and illustrating my surroundings. I then began to animate little movies and stories inspired by my daily walks, memories, books, movies.
“I think we’re all in a bit of a daze at the moment, sort of stuck in our own individual bubbles of thought. My drawings express the little things I’ve noticed in this time and the pictures I see in my mind when listening to sounds. Things like the colours of passing cars or the shapes of the clouds and the sky. I like to use more abstract shapes to generate a more raw exploration of feeling and emotion. The floating astronaut changes the viewer’s perception of reality, what is there and what isn’t constantly shifting, like looking through a bubble.”
